Winona Wosicki Botsford of Mayfield Heights Ohio passed away on Friday September 18th, 2020 after a battle with stage 4 cancer. She was born in Elyria Ohio on January 21st, 1949. She graduated Wellington High School in 1967. She lived in Avon Lake Ohio, New London, Ohio, Wellington Ohio, and most recently Mayfield Heights Ohio with her son Jason and his husband Jeff. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, loved animals especially spending time with her dog Annie. She also enjoyed being adventurous and going on road trips with her son and his husband to big cities like NYC as well as ghost hunting and being the passenger on a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. She is survived by her son, Jason Botsford(Husband Jeff Pierce), her beloved dog Annie, her grand-dog Juan, her sisters Teresa Schubert(husband the late Paul Schubert), Kathleen Wosicki, Bonnie Cooper(Husband Wayne Cooper), and Linda Anderson(Husband Tom Anderson), as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews including Vicki Hagmann(Husband Bob Hagmann), Matthew Anderson(wife Jahaira Anderson), Nathan Anderson(wife Kathy Wallace Anderson), Aaron Anderson(wife Ashley Anderson), and many others as well as many close friends. She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Wosicki, her mother Eleanor Wosicki, as well as her grandmother Susan Holub. Friends and family may attend her public viewing on Thursday September 24th, 2020 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Cowling Funeral Home located at 228 South Main Street, Oberlin Ohio 44074. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to 1641 Fruitland Avenue, Mayfield Heights Ohio 44124 where they will be dispersed to a couple select charities.
