Wayne A. Hammond

Wayne A. Hammond 85 of Pittsfield passed away on October 3 2020 unexpectedly. He was born in Amherst on March 29 1935. He was a graduate of Amherst High in 1953. He then entered into the Army and served 2 years. Wayne was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Oberlin. Wayne worked as a farmer and had an egg and vegetable route that he enjoyed doing and also worked at the Ohio Turnpike Plaza in Amherst. Wayne enjoyed spending time with friends at the Oberlin McDonalds. He is survived by some cousins and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Emelia Hammond. There will be a visitation on Friday October 9 2020 from 10am until services at 11am at the Cowling Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery.
