Virginia C. Wyler

Virginia C. Wyler 92 of Amherst passed away at Amherst Manor on January 21 2017.  She was born in Westlake, Ohio on December 14th 1924.  Virginia worked in Customer Servcie Dept. for Lorain County Savings Bank & Trust in Oberlin for 15 years retiring in 1989.  She was a member of Broadway Assembly of God Church in Lorain & former member of S. Amherst Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing & baking. Virginia is survived by her 1 son David (Tami) Wyler of Henrietta Twp., 3 Daughters Bonnie Brucker of Vermilion, Cathy Wereley of Mt. Vernon & Brenda Wyler-Penkava of Amherst. Also 11 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 sister Arlene (Don) Hall. She was preceded in death by her Husband Robert H. Wyler Jr., Mother Florence Dorow, Son Dennis Wyler, Brother Donald Dorow, sister Marjorie Wyler.  There will be a visitation from 10am until time of servcies at 11am on January 25 2017 at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with Rev. Matt Jones of Broadway Assemblyof God Church officiating. Burial will follow in Camden Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice.
