Tyler Daniel Land, 30, passed away Tuesday January 12, 2016, at his home of 154 Vine St., Wellington, OH. Tyler was born in Oberlin, OH on September 4, 1985 and resided in Wellington for his entire life. Tyler worked primarily as a commercial truck driver and landscaper in his final years.
As a child, Tyler enjoyed playing baseball and especially traveling hockey for the Elyria Panthers. Tyler also greatly enjoyed throwing darts. Tyler was gifted with a truly unique and wonderful sense of humor. He was very good at performing impressions of people he knew that always garnered many laughs. Because of his infectious personality and loving heart, Tyler was beloved by so many different people that it made paying for a drink in town nearly impossible.
Tyler is survived by his beautiful daughters, Taylor Land and Veronica Dininger; mother, Jacqueline Guitar of Wellington, OH; brother, Michael (Kristen) Whitney, of Wellington, OH; fathers, John Whitney and Randy Guitar; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmother, Francis Land; grandfather, Howard Land; and uncle, Michael Land.
Family and friends will be received Saturday January 16 from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin and then afterwards, family and friends are invited to share memories with one another at the Wellington Eagles Club.
