Steven E. Bragg

Steven Edward Bragg, 71, of Sebring OH, formerly of Wellington, OH, passed away on October 9, 2024 after a short battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Born on December 18, 1952 to the late George and Norma (Swiger) Bragg. Steve grew up and spent the majority of his life growing up in Wellington, OH and graduated from Wellington High School in 1971.

At a young age Steve knew he wanted to be a farmer as he spent much of his youth working on the Jim and Lora Sheffield dairy farm and then his own dairy farm in Pittsfield, OH and later moved to Beloit, OH. After selling the farm in 2000, Steve was a truck driver by trade until his retirement. Steve enjoyed spending his retirement years watching Cleveland sports teams and smoking cigars in his man cave. Steve made the best chili and loved spending time in his garden.

Steve is survived by his wife of 51 years Patty (Brill) Bragg, his children Sandy Bragg, of Wellington OH, Ben Bragg, of Sebring, OH, and Jill (Matt) Bushong of Ingalls, IN, his beloved grandchildren Kinsey, Alex, Addison, and Jackson, his brothers David (Julie) Bragg and Bill Bragg, sister Karen (Kevin) Conley, and sister-in-law Becky (Kyle) McDonnell, all of Wellington, OH and many nieces and nephews.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents George and Norma (Swiger) Bragg, his father-in-law Robert Brill, his sister-in-law, Linda Brill, and his much beloved best fur friend Eddie.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at Pittsfield East Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Pittsfield Community Church, 17026 State Route 58, from 11:30 am-2:00pm.
