Sondra D. Young

Sondra D. Young 66 of Oberlin passed away at Cleveland Clinic on January 17 2018 after a long illness.  She was born in Omaha, Neb  April 27 1951.  Sondra worked at Cyba Corning in Oberlin and as a swimming insructor.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Oberlin and enjoyed swimming, ceramics, crafts, movies, music and spending time with family & friends.  Sondra is survived by her husband Willie J. Young Jr. of Oberlin, son Jason (Jennifer) Young of Lorain, 2 brothers Warren Brown of California & Frank Brown of Nebraska, sister Marlene Gunn of Georgia.  Sondra was preceded in deth by her son Willie J. Young III, parents Warren & Lyda Brown. There will be a visitation from 10am until time of Memorial Service at 11am  on Friday January 26 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Oberlin with Rev. Fred L.
