Sharon A. Miller

Sharon A. Miller 82 of Oberlin passed away on September 24 2023.  She was born in Grandville, Mich on August 9 1941.  She worked as a supervisor at Oberlin College Library for 40 years.  Sharon was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oberlin and was a member of the Wellington Eagles club #2051 and the Oberlin VFW club.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, baking, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her 3 sons John and James Duvall and Jeffrey Fenton, 2 daughters Theresa Klingshirn and Elizabeth Spillane, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Sandra Sewell and Pamela Tisei.  She was preceded in death by her parents John Cheyne and Ruth Bowers, husband Kenneth Miller,  2 granddaughters Miranda Duvall and Amanda Alvarez, 2 sisters Janice Neff and Marcia Lilly.  There will be a visitation Monday from 6-8pm October 2 2023 at Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin.  A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10am October 3 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oberlin with Father David Trask officiating.
