Ruth W. Perkins

Ruth W. Perkins 84 of Oberlin passed away at Elyria Memorial Hospital on March 28 2018.  She was born in Windchester, Tenn on March 24 1934. Ruth worked at the Oberlin Coop Bookstore and at Dascoumb of Oberlin College. She was a member of Rust United Methodust Church of Oberlin. She enjoyed painting, drawing, gardening, sewing, crossword puzzles & spending time with family & friends.  She is survived by her son Harry M. Perkins, daughter Harrilyn Arnold, granddaughter Aria Edmonds, sister Ella Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents William & Frances Eskridge, husband Harry Perkins & a brother William Eskridge Jr.  The family will receive friends from  9:30am until services at 10am on Saturday April 7 2018 at Rust United Methodust Church of Oberlin with Pastor Stanley Miller officiating.  There wil be a private family burial in Westwood Cemetery at a later date.
