Ronald and Gloria Boulware entered into the Lord's eternal rest unexpectedly on July 10th, 2020 and July 7th 2020, respectively.
Ronald was born on June 19th, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio where he lived during his formative years and would graduate from East Technical High School. Shortly, thereafter, he would go on to join the Air Force serving in Vietnam and travel to different parts of the world before returning to Cleveland where he would meet the love of his life.
Gloria was born on February 25th, 1949 in Vero Beach, Florida. She would move with her family to New Brunswick, New Jersey where she resided during her formative years and would graduate from New Brunswick Senior High School. Shortly after, she would move to Cleveland to live with her sister and meet the man she would spend the rest of her days with.
Ronald and Gloria would go on to marry in May of 1971 in Dayton, Ohio. He would have a long career with the Federal Administration Aviation from which he retired. She would be a stay at home mom for some time and return to the workforce while pursuing a degree. Then, she would go on to a career with Diamond Products from which she retired. Ronald would become a Mason in his adulthood. They would settle in the Oberlin area raising three cherished children. Both would join the local VFW chapter. They would attend church service at The Church of the Open Door with the family for many years. Then, connect with Mt. Zion Baptist church in Oberlin. They would travel, vacation, shop and do many things together. Their love is now eternal and lives in the hearts and memories of the family and friends.
They were preceded in death by their parents Eugene and Lillian Boulware and Eddie and Annie Jackson, his brother Howard Simpkins and her siblings Ethel Strickland and Eddie Clark. They leave to cherish their memories three children Duwan Boulware of Cleveland, Ohio, Charnissa Boulware of Cleveland, Ohio and Anton Boulware of Oberlin, Ohio, brother Richard (Anne) Simpkins of Alexandria, Virginia, several grandchildren, and a myriad of family and friends.
The combined memorial service will be held next May 2021 during their 50th wedding anniversary.
