Richard L. Walker

Richard L. Walker 83 of Lorain passed away on November 20th 2024 at Saint Vincents Medical Center in Toledo.  He was born in Pinole, Miss. on February 6 1941.  Richard worked as a mechanic, construction and as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family and he enjoyed fixing cars, carpentry, cooking and helping others.  He leaves behind his wife Toni Walker, daughters Julie McFadden and Pamela Walker, son Jermaine Patterson grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents L.C. and Julia Walker, sister Lynn Hollins, 3 brothers Charlie and Robert Walker and C.L. Newsome.  There will be a visitation on Tuesday November 26th 2024 from 10am until time of services at 11am in the Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin  with burial to follow in Westwood Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
