Richard J. Kerg

Richard J. Kerg 59 of Elyria formally of Wellington passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on April 30 2018.  Richard was born in Lakewood on March 20 1959.  He worked in floor coverings for 30 years & enjoyed music and golf.  He is survived by his wife Alison J. Kerg of Elyria, daughter Katherine (Greg) Manney of Elyria, granddaughter Aedyn Manney of Elyria, grandson Connor Manney of Elyria, 3 brothers Chuck (Gail) Kerg of Mansfield, Ohio, Jim (Cassie) Kerg of Rochester, N.Y., Dan ( Katy) Kerg of Cleveland, 5 sisters Eileen (Mike) Holtzhauer of Lorain, Maureen (Jim) Wendelkin of Parma, Cathleen (Rocky) Smarr of Oberlin, Colleen (Rob) Price of Missouri & Christine (Jim) Wojciechowski of Vermilion, and many nieces & nephews.  He was preced in death by his parents Charles & Elizabeth Kerg.  There will be a Memorial Service starting at 11am Friday May 11 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Wellington with Pastor Tom Alexander  officiating.  There will be a private family burial at a later date.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
