Richard Bell

Richard Bell 61 of Oberlin passed away at home in Oberlin surrounded by his loving family on February 14 2021. He was born in Oberlin on March 29 1959. Richard was a graduate of Oberlin High and worked for Service Master by Horton for many years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Oberlin and he enjoyed fishing, his dogs, fixing things, watching his beloved Pittsburg Steelers and most importantly spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his wife Donna L Bell, daughter Bellanie (Errol) Barnes, son Richard Bell Jr., 3 grandchildren Darreon, Deatrice and Derrol Barnes, 2 brothers Rev. Fred L. Bell and James ( Rachell) E. Bell Jr., 2 sisters Magnolia Tevis and Norma (Bill) Kimmey along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents James E. Bell Sr. and Bertha L. (Young) Bell, 2 sisters Birdia Jackson and Ruby Ghani, 2 brothers David "Sonny" Bell and King David Bell. Due to Covid 19 and its restrictions there will be a graveside service in Westwood Cemetery on Friday February 19 2021 at 2pm with Rev. Fred L. Bell officiating.
