Pamalla J. Johnson

Pamalla J. Johnson 96 of Brookpark and formally of Oberlin passed away on September 21 2025 at Life Care Center in Westlake. She was born in Oberlin on March 4 1929.  Pamalla worked as a nurses aid at Allen Memorial Hospital for 10 years and she was a member of the Park Street Seventh - Day Adventist Church. In 2018 Mrs. Johnson had a fall in her home and with her blessing it was decided to move her to Life Care of Westlake.  She enjoyed watching TV, cooking and babysitting.  She is survived by her brother Carl Holmes and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by mothers Minnie Early and Cleo Dawson, father Willard Holmes 3 brothers Bernie, Jessie, Turner Holmes, 2 sisters Doris McElya and Dr. Patricia Thibou.  There will be a visiatation On Thursday September 25 2025 from 10 Am until services  at 11AM at Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin with burial to follow in Westwood Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
