I am so sorry for your loss. I took care of Michelle several times at her hospital stay. She was such an outgoing individual whom kept a smile on her face and always made our staff laugh.

Our thoughts are about you and your wonderful family that were our neighbor for so many years on East College Street in Oberlin. I think how close we were to being related. Our son, Eddie, proposed to Becky, wanting her to be his wife. Alas, 2 things stood in the way:
Gene [the present husband] and age [ Eddie was 5 years old at the time]. Oh well, things were not to be, but we still enjoyed all your love and friendship. Your warm hugs, Michelle, will be especially missed. It saddens Maureen and myself that there is only Paul and Mary left. Oh, how we miss all of you. Great memories. But these cherished memories will never fade. We can never lose them, for they have become a part of us. We'll smile and hold you close to us...forever in our hearts. God bless.

So sorry to hear of Michele's passing and at such a young age. I followed her in a job at WOBL where she trained me on writing copy, daily log, etc. I only knew her for a short time but so enjoyed her personality and remember her sense of humor and laugh. I admired her satiny grey WOBL jacket and she ended up giving it to me when she left the radio station. I will never forget her generosity. My condolences to all of her family and friends.

Michele,
you were my very first friend, the summer of 1968 even before I met Paul, my second friend. We played across the street with our teddy bears under the trees in the Cambells yard, you played the mother and I was the father, I remember we were mad that some ants and bugs got all over our bears, we made a secret potion in a bucket my parents had to keep them away. I have often thought about that time as the years have gone by, it is one of the very earliest memories I have.
I also always wanted to give you a picture, a perfect picture, of you in the Kilmers lawn, my sister Anna was pushing you on their swing, I took the picture, you were twirling and twirling around laughing, laughing, kicking your feet in the bright sunshine, I always said I would frame that one and give it to Michele ,...I never did. Let that be a lesson to anyone that thinks that life is for ever.
The last time I saw you, we hugged and we kidded that we felt funny for saying I love you to each other, I didn't think it was funny and it's not funny now,..I love you and will miss you little girl, I will miss you very much.

Kurt, Tony, and Family,
Words can not express my feelings of sadness and condolences to you both, your family, and the friends of Michele.
Michele is an amazing friend, mother, wife, mentor, and was a glowing example of how to be the best at those roles.
Although my relationship with Michele started out in a business sense, this rapidly evolved into a friendship due to Michele's incredible personality, not to mention her infectious laugh. The highlight of my work week was making sales calls to her every Tuesday. I knew whatever problems I had, she would make me laugh and forget about them and we spent many hours at the restaurant laughing. This would carry on to her hilarious calls/texts whenever things were tough for either of us at other times. She was truly a pleasure to work with as a customer as well as a friend.
Additionally, her dedication and friendship with her special friend Charlie "Pasta" was an inspiration to me. This special relationship exemplified the kind of person Michele was and how kind and caring people can truly be.
Michele will be immensely missed but never forgotten. My heart goes out to you all.

I was stunned and so very saddened to hear of Michele's passing. Some losses hit harder than others. She made everyone feel special in her company, always made you feel like she was thrilled to see you. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by so many who had the pleasure of knowing her. We lose many people over the course of our lives and some losses really hit hard. I’m sure for many the loss of Michele is one of those. I worked with Michele back in the 80s when she worked at WOBL Radio. Everyone who worked with her has fond memories of that time. Later, when she was managing Presti’s Restaurant I would work with her on the advertising she did with us and our conversations would often turn to reminiscing and laughing about times growing up, times when we worked together and our families. Michele was special and will be missed by all who knew her. Lorie and my sympathies go out to all of Michele’s family…our thoughts are with you.
