Maxine Bachnika

Maxine Bachnika nee Hebebrand, 85, of Oberlin, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital.
Maxine was born March 14th 1938, to Harry and Edna Hebebrand (nee Albrecht). She graduated from Keystone High School. She married her husband Rudy on March 15, 1958, celebrating 65 years together. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed baking, gardening, and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Harry Hebebrand and also her son Paul Bachnika. She is survived by her husband Rudolf Bachnika Jr, brother Harry Hebebrand and Daughters Linda (Mark) Romelfanger of New London, Karla (David) McDonald of San Antonio, TX and Judy (Rick) Branscum of Elyria. Grandchildren Kelly Bower, Kevin Keefer, Holly Mazur, Heather McDonald, Sara Carleton, Chelsey Romelfanger and 2 great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
