Marylou Shipman

Marylou Shipman 63 of Oberlin passed away May 20 2019 at her home.  She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on January 23 1956.  She worked as a teacher for the Ohio Business College for 23 years and also as a telemarketer.  Mary Lou enjoyed cooking, ceramic eggs, and cookouts with family and friends.  She is survived by her Father William Datko of New London, Husband Miles A. Shipman of Oberlin, daughter Rose Mesecher of College Station, Texas, 2 sons Miles F. Shipman of Mansfield, and Roy Shipman of Austin, Texas, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Dorothy Howell, Sherry Shimko and Nadine Datko.  She was preceded in death by her mother Ardene Datko and son Daniel Shipman.  Visitation will be Tuesday May 28 2019 from 5-8pm at the Cowling Funeral Home with visitation from 10 am until time of services at 11am on Wednesday May 29 2019 with Elder Larry Young officiating.
