So sorry to hear about Maryann, thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May you find comfort in knowing that she is in the embrace of our Lord. She was a dear friend to my sister, Jane Trimble, and a friend of mine.

To the family of Maryanne
You may not know me but my name is Erin. I came across Maryann's article and wanted to express my sincere condolences. Lossing a loved one is never easy and we all have to grieve in our own way. Remember the account found in the bible when Jesus found out Lazurus had died(John 11:33-35). Even Jesus gave to weeping for the loss of loved one. But Jesus also found comfort in his father, and at Acts 24:15 it states "there is going to be a resurrection". Psalms 37:11 also reminds us that "the meek will possess the earth and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.". So during this difficult just imagine the time when Maryann will be reunited with her Husband, her children, grandchildren, and siblings. She will be able to do all the traveling she wants with everyone and have the most beautiful garden ever. So remember to "keep throwing your anxieties" (Phil 4:6,7) and he will comfort you and get you through this time.
