Mary Eleanor Ronez (Hurd) passed awaypeacefullyWednesday, September 16, 2020at The HeritageNursinghome inFindlay,Ohio where she resided for the last 2 years.She was born on August 3, 1913 in Elyria, Ohioto the late John and Mary (St. Aubin) Burke. In 1933 she married Harland Hurd andhe proceeded in her in death 1976.She later married Steve Ronez in 1988and he proceeded in her death in 1995. Mary had6 wonderful children;Mary(Glen)Carruthers, Joan(Norman)Wilhelm, Edwin (Lynn) Hurd, Rose(Carroll)Riddle, Thomas(Joyce)Hurd, daughter in law Eileen Hurd, Charlene(Tom)Hamski,5 step children; Gene (Pat) Ronez, Ronald (Janet) Ronez, Shirley (Paul)Knott,Darlene (George) Criss, Robert (Eydie) Ronez.She was blessed with 29 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 61 great great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her daughterCharlene; sons Edwinand Thomas; son in lawsGlen Carruthers, Norman Wilhelm, CarrollRiddle, Paul Knottand daughter in law Lynn Hurd. She loved her fur baby Suzieandthe two of themenjoyedcar rides. She alsoenjoyedbirdwatching, gardening,reading,playing bingo and skip-bo. She loved life in general and enjoyed spending time with her family the most.Mary worked for the IGA in Oberlinandthe Carlyle Flower Shop.A gravesideservice will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, September21, 2020, at Westwood Cemeteryin Oberlin, Ohio. Due to graveside service in lieuof flowers donations can bemade to a charity of your choice in her honor. Mask are required due to the pandemic.
