Obituary
Luereacie "Reacie Holloway was born in Oberlin on January 6 1943. She passed away on November 2 2022 in LaGrange, Ohio peacefully. Reacie was a graduate of Oberlin High in 1961. She worked as a nurse for many years in the area and was most memorable at Carters Nursing Home here in Oberlin. She was a member of Rust United Methodist Church of Oberlin attending Sunday school and worked in the church kitchen. Reacie was very active in the Eastern Stars appendant, serving many offices including Worthy Matron of Martha Chapter #35 and Alalim Court #223. She enjoyed cooking and baking and catering great dishes for her family and friends. She enjoyed collecting house plants and African masks. Reacie is survived by her 2 sons Eric (Tracy) Holloway and Jason Holloway, 2 sisters Martha Hodge and Ada Dixon, brother Ralph (Sandra) Holloway and a host of nieces nephews and many many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Luereacie Holloway, 3 brothers Albert, David and James Holloway and 2 sisters Carrie Linell Walker and Louise Holloway Glover.
