Lloyd W. Straight

Lloyd W. Straight 94 of Oberlin passed away at Allen Mercy Hospital after a short illness.  He was born in Laings, Ohio on April 9 1928.  He worked for the Union Carpentry for many years. Lloyd served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War.   Lloyd was a member of the American Legion of Wellington and enjoyed wood working, fishing and going to the casino.  He is survived by his 2 sons Daniel and David Straight, daughter Margaret Straight, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Edna Straight, wife Eldora Mae Straight, grandson Jeffrey Libengood, great granddaughter Candace Straight and 2 sisters.  There will be a visitation on Thursday September 22 2022 from 10am until time of services at 11am at the Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin with burial to follow in New Russia Twp.
