Leona M. Bristow

Leona M. Bristow 89 of Oberlin passed away at Welcome Nursing Home on July 4 2022.  She was born in Long Island, N.Y. on July 27 1932.  Leona was a member of Peace Mennonite Church of Elyria, Senior Citizens, Red Hat Society, Senior League Bowling and Wellington Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bowling, playing cards and fishing.  She is survived by her son Frank (Pat) Bristow of Oberlin, Step Son Leonard Bristow of Florida, Grandson Andrew Bristow of Oberlin, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Dina Magill, husband Howard Bristow, brother James Magill and a sister Anna Stevens.  There will be a graveside service in Westwood Cemetery in Oberlin on Thursday at 11am July 7 2022.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
