Leman Furcron 89 of Oberlin passed away peacefully May 26 2019. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1949 and worked at Sterling Foundry in Wellington for 42 years retiring in 1992. He was an avid sports fan and dedicated family man. He is survived by his daughter Laura (Bob) Whitehouse of Oberlin, 5 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, sister Marie Furcron of Detroit and a brother Harold (Gloria) Furcron of Ashtabula, host of nieces and nephews. Leman was preceded in death his his wife Shirley Furcron, son James Furcron, parents Morris and Amy Furcron Sr., sister Etta Ruth Boswell, brothers Morris Jr., Leon, Howard, and Russell Furcron. Visitation will be Friday May 31 2019 from 10am until time of services at 11am at Rust United Methodist Church of Oberlin with Pastor Stanley Miller officiating. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery.
