Larry R. Davis

Larry R. Davis 68 of Vermilion passed away at New Life Hospice on May 14 2024.  He was born in Lorain on December 2 1955.  Larry worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years retiring in 2021.  He was a member of the Amherst Eagles Club and the Amherst American Legion.  Larry enjoyed classic cars, playing golf and watching his Ohio State Buckeyes.  He is survived by his wife Patricia Davis, son Trevor Davis,  daughter Jamie (Bryan) Thompson and stepdaughter Cassidy White, 4 grandchildren Beckham and Victoria Lynne Thompson, Fiona Davis and Ripleigh Proctor and a brother Dave Davis.  He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Helen Davis, 1st wife Victoria Lynne Davis and a sister Phyllis Ann Davis.  There will be a visitation on Monday, May 20 2024 from 6-8pm at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with services on Tuesday, May 21 2024 at 11 am with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Westwood Cemetery in Oberlin. A reception will be held at the Amherst Eagles Club 1161 Milan Avenue Amherst, Ohio 44001 from 1-4 pm.
