Kenneth E. Heiden 87 of Wellington passed away at the Elms Nursing Home on September 30 2024. Ken was born on September 10 1937 in Oberlin the son of Earl and Ruth Heiden. He was a graduate of Wellington High School and spent most of his life harvesting the land and was a dairy farmer in Pittsfield Twp. He also worked at Lorain County JVS retiring after 25 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and sportsman. Ken enjoyed following all Cleveland sports teams and spending time with his family. He is survived by his son Gregg (Linda) Heiden, 3 daughters Connie Rosecrans, Sharon (Tom) Tomes and Darlene (Mike) Zappa, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a sister Jeannet Stanley. Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife Jeannette on January 16 2003, son in law Mike Rosecrans in 2020 and his parents Earl and Ruth Heiden.There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at the Wellington Eagles 631 S. Main St. in Wellington on November 10 2024 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm. The family encourages attendees to wear their favorite sports team shirt.
