Katherine M. Southworth

Katherine "Kathy" M. Southworth (nee Smith)   95 of Oberlin was called home on February 21 2023 after a brief illness.   Kathy was born to parents Floyd and Pansy Smith in Seymour, Mo..  In 1951 she met and married her beloved husband.  The couple had 3 children.  Kathy is survived by her son Roger N, daughter Janet L (David) Fisher, sister Irene (VanGilder), brother Phil, 6 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Don, Tom, Charles, and Frank, sister Margaret (Collins), husband Joseph N. and son Jeffery N.  Kathy was an active member of her church for 50+ years.  Visitation will be Wednesday March 1 2023  from 10am until time of services at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church 414 S. Main St in Oberlin with Pastor Brian Kenyon officiating.  Burial will follow  in New Russia Twp. Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
