To Hignett & Pease Families,

My condolences on your loss of Karen.  Although I had not seen her for some time, she always had a smile and pleasant word to say when we would run into her at the fair or other event.  I remember what a kind caregiver she was from my mother's many stays at Oberlin Hospital.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I would like to extend sincere condolences to Karen's family and friends.
I went to school with Karen and although she could be shy and reserved most of the time, I remember her as being very outgoing and supportive of her class and the various sports teams at Pep Rallys, Spirit Week and the games.  Her eyes were truly the window to her soul as she extended kindness and compassion to everyone she met throughout her career and her daily life.  May God Bless.
