John W. Bollinger, 74, of LaGrange, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was born February 14, 1947 in Gassaway, West Virginia and had been a Lorain County resident for over 50 years. He graduated from Ravenswood High School and Hocking Technical College. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Parson’s Dairy, Chemlawn, and Invacare. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Patricia (Bligh); daughters Hollie (Christopher) Taylor of Maumee, OH and Monica (Scott) Smith of Eagle River, AK, grandchildren, Benjamin, Nathan, and Lauren Taylor, and Zachary and Evan Smith, sister; Maxine Bartholomew of Amherst, OH; brothers, William of Florence, Az. and Robert of Morrison, Co., and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Ineva Bollinger; brothers Kenton, Eugene, and Jack; and sister Eileen Brossman.
