Johanna Gail Cash

Johanna Gail Cash 73 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 30 2025.  She was born in Oberlin on April 19 1952.  Johanna worked as a Medical Assistant for the Oberlin Clinic for many years. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, traveleing the world and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter Dawnzell Cash Brown, 2 sons Alfonzo Cash Sr and Lonzell Cash, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother Craig Gibbs, 2 sisters Brenda Ashley-Dean and Marsha Gibbs.  She was preceded in death by her parents Brenton and Gertrude Gibbs, husband Byrd Washington B.W. Cash Sr. and a sister Paula Gibbs. There will be a visitation Friday October 10 2025 from 9am to 11am at the Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin with burial to follow in Westwood Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
