Obituary

James Hollstein 73 of Oberlin passed away after a short illness. He was a gentle man who was always willingto help others.  He was very proud of his grandchildren and  enjoyed many activities with them.  James was employed at Nordson for 35 years as an engineer.  He is survived by his wife Karen. Daughter Kristin (Scott) Nickolls and Kelly (Bob) Schurdell, grandchildren Ashley and Jessica Bittner, Molly, Jacob and Andrew Schurdell and great grandson Lacon Bittner, brother Tom (Lynn) and brother -in-law Ted (Bonnie) Freas.  He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Bittner and his parents George and Helen Hollstein.  There will be a private family burial at a later date in Westwood Cemetery..  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
