Howard E. Bristow 82 of Oberlin passed away on February 24 2018 at Welcome Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born in Millbury, Ohio on July 13 1935. Howard worked as a crane operator in the S. Amherst Quarries for 13 years and also ran a blacktop business for 4 years. He was a member of Peace Mennonite Church of Elyria, senior citizens group, Wellington Eagles & Senior league Bowling. Howard enjoyed fishing, playing cards & cutting wood. He is survived by his wife Leona Bristow, 2 sons Frank & Leonard Bristow, Grandson Andrew Bristow 2 sisters Marge Pauley & Carol Ellis, brother Gary Taborn. He was preceded
in death by his parents Harry & Agnes Bristow & step father James Taborn, 3 brothers Charles Bristow & Bob & Jim Taborn. Visitation will be Thursday March 1 2018 from 5-7pm at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin. Memorial Service will be Friday at 11am at Peace Mennonite Church 9300 West Ridge Rd. Elyria 44035.
