Harless E. Sutphin

Harless E. Sutphin of Oberlin passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 3 2020.  He was born in Coeburn, Virginia on February 29 1948.  He worked for the Ohio Turnpike as a manager for many years.  Harless enjoyed watching all sporting events, music, bowling and spending time with family and friends.  He is survived by his 3 nephews Jason (Katie) Sutphin, Glen (Laura) Sutphin and  Eric Sutphin, 3 nieces Michelle Bailey, Priscilla Sutphin and Nicole Dill and a host of great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Early and Mary Sutphin,  2 brothers David and Ed Sutphin.  Visitation will be Friday February 7 2020 from 10am until services at 11am at the Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington.
