Grady Jack Robinson Jr

Loving family surrounded Grady Jack Robinson Jr on October 28 as he departed this earthly life. Born in Oberlin October 27, 1943 to the late Trevesta (Penn) and Grady Jack Robinson Sr. Grady graduated from Oberlin High in 1962. When he was ordered to report for induction, his education was interrupted by the war in Vietnam. While in the army he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and rose to the rank of First Lieutenant. He received both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star with a  "V"and was honorably discharged in 1968. He resumed his education with a degree from Oberlin College after which he continued at Antioch Law School. Grady's passing leaves a hole in the hearts of his son, Victor and daughters Mary (TiRay) Robinson-Wallace and Julia, grandchildren Thais, TiRay Jr, and Téa Wallace,  brother William, sisters Idajeanne R. Brown, and Barbara R. Nicholson, aunts Thelma Robinson, Delores Penn, and Beulah Williams, nieces and nephews and a host of Cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday November 7, 2015 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 47 Locust St., Oberlin, OH.
