Glenetta loved to quilt, cook and crochet. You could find fabric, yarn and magazines in every room of her home. She loved caring for people and quit her job nursing to look after her mother in her final days. She was an active and involved grandmother, and rarely missed attending a birthday celebration, recital, competition, or graduation celebration.
During her retirement Glenetta began to attend the senior center in hopes of attending some quilting classes. She ended up taking weaving classes where she learned you are never too old to make new friends. These new friendships she made meant a lot to her and gave her family comfort. She spoke highly of the women and looked forward to her Wednesday sessions.
Glenetta loved the Lord, reading her bible and was a long-standing member of Rust Methodist church. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
