Gladys Mary Yacyszyn (nee) Adkins from Oberlin, passed away on September 9th 2024, 28 days shy of her 90th birthday. the Lord took another angel from this earth back to heaven. Born in Coeburn VA on 10/7/1934 one of 13 children to the late Elemual and Malissie Adkins (nee) James. Gladys spent all of her youth in Coeburn moving to Ohio in her 20's in 1960 she became the Devoted wife of the late Robert Yacyszyn., A loving mother of Deborah Montoney Yacyszyn and Tammy Yacyszyn both of Oberlin. She was the Cherished Grandmother of Danielle Montoney and Douglas Montoney with Brielle Anderson. Great Grandmother to Paislee Miller. She is proceeded in death by her brothers, Ewell, Lowell, Buford, Edward, Leon and Willard, Sisters' Nettie Graham, Edna Tomlinson, Lilly Sluss, Joyce Sexton Linda Moon. Surviving sister Barbara and Brother in-law Charles Bond, sister in-law Diane Adkins. Gladys devoted her life to her family and friends she was the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back, Gladys worked at Mullers Packaging, Cleveland Steel, Rockwell International and Green Circle Growers until she retired. she attended Green Pastures Baptist Church in Oberlin until she became ill. Church services and Celebration of life will be held Saturday September 14th at 1 P.M. at Green Pastures Baptist Church in Oberlin 12404 Leavitt Rd. Rt. 58. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Deborah or Tammy
