Gilbert L. Hignett

Gilbert L. Hignett 69 of LaGrange passed away at Elyria Memorial Hospital on January 28 2021. He was born in Lorain on February 14 1951. He worked as a manufacturing supervisor for 44 years retiring in 2016. Gilbert was a member of First Church of Oberlin, Elyria Moose Lodge and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his Son Craig Hignett, daughter Heather Varner and 6 grandchildren. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Mary Hignett, wife Karen Hignett and 2 sisters Roberta Dussell and Jeanette Leinbach.
