George L. Locklear

George L. Locklear 79 of Oberlin passed away suddenly at Mercy Regional Hospital in Lorain on October 4 2021. He was born December 12 1941 in Chillicothe, Ohio. George served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. George worked at B.F. Goodrich for many years and also at Oberlin Municiple Court. He enjoyed puzzles, cooking, playing horseshoes and card games but most of all spending time with his family and friends. George is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Locklear, daughter Judith Locklear-Harris, 3 sons George (Carla) Locklear, David (Edie) Locklear and Charles (Tonia) Locklear, 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Evelyn Locklear, brother Gordan Brown and sister Judith Hamilton.
