Frederick J. Berg

Frederick J. Berg 77 of Oberlin passed away at Mercy Regional Hospital in Lorain on September 21 2021. He was born in Oberlin on May 10 1944 and worked at the Oberlin Fire Dept. for 29 years. Fred also worked for Clark Brothers in Oberlin. Fred was drafted by the New York Yankees and pitched Triple A baseball. Fred enjoyed hunting fishing and golf. He is survived by his 2 sisters Beverly (Don) Hentges of Bowling Green, Jean (George) Kirk of Phoenix, nieces and nephews, cousins and a special cousin Tamee Forthofer of Oberlin.
