Frank J. Weaver

Frank J. Weaver 94 of Oberlin passed away at Elyria Memorial Hospital on March 13 2024.  He was born August 24 1929 in Bloomingrose, W.V. Frank  was a veteran of the Korean War and  received his purple heart. Frank worked as a fork lift operator for General Motors in Elyria for 30 years retiring in 1983.  He was a member of Church of Christ in LaGrange and also a member of the Purple Heart and Korean War Veterans Assc. Frank enjoyed computers, model cars and his cats.  he is survived by his wife Josephine Weaver, 2 daughters Linda Estep and Charlotte Kudela, son Frank A. Weaver, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and a brother Billy Gene Weaver.  He was preceded in death by his parents Covey & Thelma Weaver, 4 sisters Charlotte Cantley, Lucille King, Patsy Weaver and Edith Myers, 2 brothers Jimmy Weaver and Ralph Weaver.  There will be a visitation on Tuesday March 19 2024 from 10am until time of services at 11am at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with Mark Bass officiating.  Private family burial will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens later that day.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
