Frank J. Weaver 94 of Oberlin passed away at Elyria Memorial Hospital on March 13 2024. He was born August 24 1929 in Bloomingrose, W.V. Frank was a veteran of the Korean War and received his purple heart. Frank worked as a fork lift operator for General Motors in Elyria for 30 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of Church of Christ in LaGrange and also a member of the Purple Heart and Korean War Veterans Assc. Frank enjoyed computers, model cars and his cats. he is survived by his wife Josephine Weaver, 2 daughters Linda Estep and Charlotte Kudela, son Frank A. Weaver, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and a brother Billy Gene Weaver. He was preceded in death by his parents Covey & Thelma Weaver, 4 sisters Charlotte Cantley, Lucille King, Patsy Weaver and Edith Myers, 2 brothers Jimmy Weaver and Ralph Weaver. There will be a visitation on Tuesday March 19 2024 from 10am until time of services at 11am at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with Mark Bass officiating.
