Floree Frazier 89 formally of Oberlin passed away on January 1 2021 at Villas Camilla Nursing Center in Columbia Station. She was born on December 1 1931 in Pinola, Mississippi and was the daughter of the late Earl Smith Sr. and Indiana (Griffin) Smith. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers Earl Smith Jr. and L.D. Smith. Floree attended Hazelhurst High School in Mississippi and later moved to Oberlin. She worked as a houskeeper at Oberlin College until she retired in 1992. Floree was also preceded in death by her husband Eddie Frazier whom she married on May 9 1953. She is survived by 3 sons Lewis (Ann) Frazier, Jerry Frazier and Arthur (Mary) Frazier. She also leaves to cherish her memory grandsons Dustin and Lahrahn Frazier, granddaughters Alexandria Allen, Asia Frazier, Marcia Frazier and great granddaughter Desareye Johnson in addition an aunt to her nieces, nephews and cousins. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and Savior and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Oberlin. Floree enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and attending sporting events. There will be a private family funeral service in Cowling Funeral Home with Rev. Fred L. Bell officiating followed by a burial in Westwood Cemetery.
