Emmel Thomas Mack (Mack), 64 of Pittsfield, OH passed away at his home on Saturday November 21, 2015.
Born in 1951, Mack played by his own rules throughout his life. Mack graduated from Clearview High school in 1971 and immediately began a life-long journey in construction, maintenance and repair, holding several state licenses along the way. For approximately 15 years he worked at US Steel as a high ranking millwright. In the early 1980’s Mack started a family construction business named Mack and Sons Service Inc. He and his family built it into one of the most widely respected and sought after contractors in Lorain County. His unique sense of business and general likability helped him gain respect in the community. Known as a hardworking and honest person, he spent most of his life fixing problems and helping others. He used his time on this planet to help those around him. He was always quick to buy a lunch or offer a cold beer to a friend. His charm and insight was one of a kind. Spending time with his grandchildren was his top priority. He took much pride in being their “Grampy”
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Judith Ann (Ahlgrim); sons Emmel T Mack II (Heidi), Eric T Mack (Raquel), and Joshua A Mack (Tammy) and his grandchildren Kahnor and Aerilynn.
The family would like to invite friends and relatives to celebrate his life by spending a casual afternoon at his home Saturday November 28th from 1PM – 6PM.
