Ellen A. Patterson

Ellen A. Patterson 78 of Wellington passed away unexpectedly on May 2 2022.  She was born on November 27 1943 in Spokane, Washington.  Ellen worked as owner and operator (C.P.A.)  She was heavily involved in many horse organizations, such as O.H.A.H.A.,  B.A.H.A.A.,  National Horse Show Register and also the Ohio C.P.A. Assc.  She enjoyed her flower gardens her horses and dogs and loved being a CPA.  Ellen is survived by her beloved family Daughter Stacy L. Grills (Robert), 3 Granddaughters  Monica A. Patterson (Pete),  Chelsea K. Grills (Matt),  Kathryn L. Grills, 3 Great Grandchildren Brandt, Madalynn and Ellie.  She was preceded in death by her parents John and Marguerite Dougherty, Husband James E. Patterson "Pat",  Son James S. Patterson "Scott",  Granddaughter Courtney Grills,  1 Brother and 2 sisters.  There will be a visitation on Thursday May 12 2022 from 6-8pm at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin, with services on Friday at 11am at the funeral.  Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.
