Dr. Albert C. Holloway

Dr. Albert C. Holloway 85 of East Lansing, Michigan departed this life on Friday March 30 2018.  He was born in Oxford, Mississippi on April 22 1931 to Fred and Luereacie Holloway who were sharecroppers there.  In search of a better life his parents moved the family to Oberlin in 1941.  He attended Oberlin public schools and graduated in the class of 1950.  He served in the US Army. He received a BS degree at Ashland College, Masters degree at Ohio State University and a Doctorate of Philosophy at American College of Metaphysical Theology at Minneapolis, Minn.  The family will receive friends at Rust United Methodist Church in Oberlin on Saturday April 7 2018 at 1:30pm until time of services at 2pm with Pastor Stanley Miller officiating.
