Dortha M. Wrench, of Wellington, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the age of 101. Dortha was born December 17, 1918 in Chatham Township. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1938. Dortha worked at the Kroger in Wellington and during World War II she worked at American Radiator in Elyria. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses since 1953. She is survived by four grandchildren, Julie (Louis) Wagner, Jill (Matt) Mull, James (Marlene) Wacker and Jeanna Sutherland, all of Wellington; ten great-grandchildren, Cassandra (Blake) Marlin, Christopher Wagner, Cody, Bailey and Madison Mull, Mia, Emma and James Wacker, Whitney Kirschner and Parker Sutherland; one great-great-grandson, Walker Marlin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Donna Wacker Hall in 2004; parents, Myron and Annie Hines; twin sister, Dorris Jordan; sister, Amy Oen and brothers, Wayne, Harry, Clarence and Lee Hines. Memorial visitation will take place Friday, October 2, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cowling Funeral Home, 228 South Main Street, Oberlin. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
