David D. Daniels

David D. Daniels 64 of Lorain passed away at his home on October 7 2022.  David was born in Oberlin, Ohio on June 10 1958.  He worked as a Lieutenant at the NorthCoast Correctional Treatment Facility  in Grafton for many years.  He enjoyed basketball, riding bikes, his cars, cracking  jokes and especially spending time with family and friends.  He is survived by his parents Rosevelt and Willie Daniels, his beloved wife Audrey P. Daniels, son Davon D. Daniels, 4 brothers Cornelius Smith, Harvest Daniels, Samuel Daniels I and Merley Daniels.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Nathan and Beulah Daniels and maternal grandparents Austin Smith and Sylvia Wright and a host of Aunts and Uncles.  There will be a visitation from 12 noon until time of services at 1pm on October 17 2022 with Pastor Lester Allen officiating at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with burial to follow in Westwood Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
