Daniel "Butch" Emery

Daniel W. "Butch" Emery 73 of Oberlin passed away at his home on December 15 2020. He was born in Oberlin on June 9 1947. Daniel worked for the City of Oberlin at Westwood Cemetery and then for the Water Department for 45 years retiring in 2011. Daniel enjoyed racing at the Lorain County Speedway and watching football. He is survived by his wife Jane E. Emery of Oberlin, son William C. Emery of Oberlin, daughter Mary Emery of Oberlin and 8 grandchildren, 3 brothers Jim, Ron and Tom Emery. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Emery. There will be a private family graveside service in Westwood Cemetery.
