Bernard A. Linden, 80 yrs. old, passed away suddenly at his home on Aug 5, 2025. He was born July 31, 1945 in Elyria to Raymond J. and Laura J. (nee McWilliam) Linden. He graduated from Midview High School in 1963 where he was active in FFA raising sheep. He joined the US Navy after graduating and served 3 yrs, mainly stationed on Midway Island in the Pacific. He then became a truck driver for most of his employment. Upon retirement, he raised rabbits as a hobby.
He was married to Sandra (nee Shepard) who preceded him in death in 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers James A. (Diane) in 2014 and Craig R. (Shirley) in 2016 as well as a son Scott D. (2023) of AZ. Bernard is survived by 3 children: Raymond A. (Tony) of FL, Elizabeth A. (Allen) of FL and Donald E. (Lisa) of AZ. Sisters Catherine Choma and Barbara Scheuvront, both of Elyria. He had 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
His children are hosting a memorial service where lunch will be served on Oct. 4th from 11 am until 2 pm at the Salvation Army, 55 Whittlesey Ave. Norwalk, OH.
