Barbara L. Bailey

Barbara L. Bailey 80 of Oberlin passed away July 4 2020 at Fairview Hospital from cancer. Barbara was the duaghter of James & Gertrude (Botz) Jenkins. Her family had owned the Dariland on Rt. 58. This is where she met her husband William Bailey. They were married 55 years until his death in 2017. Barbara retired on January 2020 from dietary at Allen Mercy Hospital for 51 years of service. She enjoyed flowers, crocheting, friday night football games, and vacationing to visit family. Barbara was preceded in death by her great grandson Gabriel Britton. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Johnson, 3 grandchildren Christopher Jones, Nicole Johnson, Robert and Crystle (Johnson) Britton. Barbara was blessed with 6 great grandchildren Imogen, Quest, Sarrina, Rocendo, Katarina and Chance. She is also survived by 2 brothers James (Linda Ferguson) Jenkins of Florida and Thomas (Annie Parker) Jenkins of Amherst. A memorial open house was to be held on August 1 2020 but this has been cancled due to the uprise of COVID 19. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
