Alex Soto Obituary

Alex C. Soto known as "Echo" passed away at New Life Hospice on April 26 2024.  He was born in Rockford, Ohio on July 17 1939 and was raised in Fort Worth, Texas until he was 17 before moving back to Ohio.  Alex worked as an Assembler at Nordson for 32 years retiring in 2001.  Alex was know by everyone in the neighborhood as the Mayor of Reserve Ave. here in Oberlin.  He enjoyed waxing his truck, doing yard work and dancing.  Alex is survived by his loving wife Jane Soto and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Anastacio and Anacleta Soto, his 6 brothers Antonio, Valentine, Pedro, Victor, Felix and infant brother Pilar Soto, also his 5 sisters Catalina Mosqueda, Lupe Ramirez, Pauline Campos, Mercy Sampson and Paula Soto.  There will be a visitation on Wednesday May 1 2024 from 6-8pm at the Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin with services on Thursday May 2 2024 at 11am.
