Albert L. Pasadyn 78 of Wellington passed away after a short illness at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain on October 26 2020. He was born in Oberlin on July 12 1942. He was raised in Wellington and was a Wellington High Graduate of 1960. He was employed for several years at the Harshaw Chemical Co. He retired in 1997 from General Motors. He married Sandra Neal on December 1 1962 and together they raised 3 children Michelle Foy, Laura (Mike) Brubaker, Aaron (Jennifer) Pasadyn. They have 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Tom Pasadyn and sister Nancy Finley. Al was a member of St. Patrick Church of Wellington, Wellington Eagles #2051 and American Legion Post #8. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, golf and attending his grandchildrens sporting events and their piano and dance recitals. In his earlier years Al served as the Cleveland Browns grounds crew and field maintanence. He also coached his sons baseball and flag football teams. Al was past president of the Wellington Boosters and enjoyed running the doughnut booth at the Lorain County Fair. Al truly enjoyed being a golf coach for the blind golf league. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Josephine (Alferio) Pasadyn, his in-laws Art & Lorette Neal and son in-law Tony Foy.
