Ruby J. Ghani

Ruby J. Ghani 72 of Oberlin passed away at Mercy Regional in Lorain on October 1 2017 after a long illness. Ruby worked at Welcome Nursing Home for 44 years retiring in 2008 as an LPN. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Oberlin & served on the Nurses Guild. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, word puzzles & reading. She is survived by her 2 duaghters Paula (Richard) Jones-Tarrant & Sandra Jones-Brown, 2 sons R. Leroy (Maya) Jones & Carl (Corese) Jones, 10 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren, 3 brothers James (Rachell) Bell, Richard Bell & Rev. Fred Bell, 2 sisters Norma Kimmey & Magnolia Tevis.  Ruby was preceded in death by her parents James & Bertha Bell Sr., 2 brothers David "Sonny" Bell Sr. & King David Bell & sister Birdia Jackson.  There will be a graveside service in Westwood Cemetery at 10am  on Tuesday October 10 2017.  Online condolences may be made to www.cowlingfuneralhomeoh.com
